Cheverny (Sauvignon Blanc) 2007 Domaine Du Salvard, Loire, France £5.00/ £20.00
This wine comes from the Domaine Salvard family run wine estate, organically farmed since the 1890`s. It is a junior Sancerre with great goosberry crispness and a full and fruity nose.    

Friulano Colli Orientali Fruili Visintini 2008 Visintini, Friuli, Italy £5.25/ £21.00
Related to Sauvignon Blanc this variety is indigenous to Northeast of Italy. The wine has a clean soft texture with fresh herbs and good fruit.     
 
Gruner Veltliner `Wachberg` 2008 Weingut Salomon, Undhof, Austria £22.50
The wines from this small family run estate date back to 1792 . The grapes come from steep natural terraces along the Daube River, producing a clean and fresh wine with hints of white pepper and white peach.    
    
Vouvray Sec (Chenin Blanc) 2007 Champalou, Loire, France £6.00/ £23.50
The grapes of Didier Champalou are harvested early to preserve their vivid character. The wine is rounded with an almost buttery texture with hints of apples, ripe quince and honey.    
    
Riesling  2008 Domaine Albert Mann, Alsace, France £28.00
This small and impressive estate produces a bright and elegant wine. It has great freshness on the palate with a hint of richness.  
   
Vermentino Solosole (Vermentino) 2007 Poggio Al Tesoro, Antonini, Toscana, Italy £30.00
Deep straw yellow in colour, this wine has a fine and clean perfume, with a good balance of fresh fruit and crisp acidity on the palate.    
    
`O Rosal` Albarino 2008 Bodegas Terras Gauda, Riax Baixas, Spain £32.00
This wine comes from an area North West of Spain, bordering Portugal and it`s grapes are influenced by the Atlantic. The wine is marked by exceptionally bright and clean aromas and flavours of white flowers, peachy fruit and green plums.    
    
Soave Classico  `Calvarino` (Garganega) 2007 Pieropan, Veneto, Italy £8.25/ £33.00
Pieropan is regarded as one of the great producers in the Soave zone consistantly delivering high quality and sophisticated wines.  The wine is unoaked with smooth mineral tones and a clean finish.    
    
Chablis 1er Cru `Fourchaume` Chantemerle 2007 Domain Adhemar Boudin, Bourgogne, France Full £34.00 / Half 17.00
This wine comes from a traditional estate producing grapes that are generous and pure. The wine has a touch more weight than some Chablis while retaining a good minerality and freshness.

Le Petit Jaboulet (Grenache) 2008 Jaboulet, Rhone, France £4.00/ £16.00
This family`s 100 hectares ensure that they have access to some the region`s best fruit. The wine is bright with well judged fruit and minerals and a dry finish. 
   
Donnadelle (Negroamaro) 2008 Alberto Longo, Puglia, Italy £6.50/ £26.00
This young producer creates a vivid style of wine, made from the local grape variety - Negroamaro. It has a floral and fruity style while remaining fresh and clean.    
    
Bandol (Mouvedre,Grenache,Cinsault,Carignan) 2008 Domaine la Suffrene, Provence, France £7.00/ £28.00
This wine is an elegant style of rose with extra weight and texture. It is bright and dry with a touch of spice.    
    
Red Wine    
    
Garnacha Cepas Viejas 2007 Vega del Castillo, Navarra, Spain £4.00/ £16.00
Navarra has a long tradition of wine making and this estate has been part of it for generations. This wine, made with the traditional Garnacha variety, is clean and soft with juicy fruit and good length.    
    
Bourgueuil `Cuvee Binette` (Cabernet Franc) 2007 Domaine de la Chevalerie, Loire, France £5.00/ £19.50
With 400 years of history this estate makes wine true to their territory. Cabernet Franc thrives in the coolish conditions here, creating a wine with a vibrant, red purple colour,  a perfume of redcurrants and red pepper and fruity palate.    
    
Chianti Rufina (Sangiovese, Canaiolo) 2006 Fattoria Selvapiana, Tuscany, Italy £26.00
This wine estate lies in the hills east of Florence, creating an elegant style of wine from a slightly cooler part of the Chianti zone. The wine is perfectly balanced with great fruit and spice.    
    
Fleurie `Clos de La Roilette` (Gamay) 2007 Domaine Coudert, Beaujolais, France £26.50
From a small corner of Fleurie, the soils are more limestone based and thus create wines with more structure that most fleuries.  The grapes are picked from old vines at a maximum maturity to give a fuller, ripe and rich wine. 
   
Assisi Rosso Sportoletti (Sangiovese/Merlot) 2007 Sportoletti, Umbria, Italy £6.75/ £27.00
This twenty hectare estate is made up of a number of small vineyards high in the hills above Assisi and Spello, producing this well rounded, rich and smokey wine with good length.  
   
Langhe Nebbiolo 2006 Aldo Vajra, Peimonte, Italy £31.00
In the heart of Barolo, Vajra`s wines are fine and aromatic with purity and intensity. This elegant unoaked wine has the typical floral and slightly savoury character of Nebbiolo.  
   
La Grola (Corvina) 2005 Allegrini, Veneto, Italy £32.00
This wine has a bright ruby colour with a palate of bitter cherries and a twist of raspberry. It has good intensity with a long and elegant finish.    

Chianti Rufina Riserva `Bucerchiale` (Sangiovese) 2006 Fattoria Selvapiana, Tuscany, Italy £8.50/ £34.00
This wine is powerful with tremendous elegance and finesse. It displays similar characteristics to the regular Chianti although it has an extra level of intensity and concentration.   
 
Cotes du Rhone `La Sagesse` (Grenache, Syrah) 2006 Domaine Gramenon, Rhone, France £36.00
This estate is admired for the purity of their wines, using old vines to produce a deep rich Rhone wine that is fragrant and lush. With ripe fruit and notes of black pepper, the wine has an elegant structure and long finish.    
    
Givry Premier Cru ` Clos Jus` (Pinot Noir) 2006 Francios Lumpp, Bourgogne, France £40.00
Lumpp creates bright and generous styled wines which are among the top wines in this area of Burgundy. This wine has good texture, weight and a high concentration of fruit.     
    
Saint Estephe, Cru Bourgeois (Cab Sauv/Franc, Merlot)  2002 Chateau Coutelin-Merville, Bordeaux, France £40.00
The wine from this estate is marked by a bigger proportion of Cabernet Franc adding fragrance and texture to the wine. This is a distinct and elegant Bordeaux with plenty of rich tannins.     

Villacreces (Tempranillo, Merlot, Cab Sauvignon) 2005 Ribera del duero, Utiel, Spain £45.00
This wine comes from vineyards with a mixture of soils giving rich different flavours to the fruit. With this complexity it is elegant, with fine tannins, balance and has a a long finish.   
 
Sweet Wine    
    
Monbazillac (Semillon, Muscadelle) 2006 Domaine de l`Ancienne Cure, Bergerac, France £4.25/ £14.50
With a long history of sweet wine production, this estate makes an authentic and pure style. Showing notes of orange peel and spice as well as dry apricots, it retains good acidity to keep it clean on the finish.     

Aleatico Passito (Aleatico) 2007 A Mano, Primitivo, Puglia, Italy £6.75/ £31.00
Deep ruby red in colour with a perfume of rich dried cherries. Sweet and well rounded with an attractive clean finish.     

Mauray Vintage Rouge (Grenache Noir) 2005 Mas Amiel, Roussillon, France £36.00
Maury is made from raisined Grenache Noir grapes grown on the baking slopes of the Roussillon. It has flavours of berries, notes of mocha and coffee, dried herbs, prune and caramel.
